What to Have Ready When We Come to Quote a Bathroom

Getting an accurate quote for a bathroom renovation is a lot easier when we're all prepared going in. Here's what helps us give you the most useful and realistic number possible.

The first thing that helps is knowing the scope. Have a think about what you're hoping to change before we arrive. Are you looking at a full gut renovation or targeted updates like flooring and fixtures? The clearer you are on what you want touched, the more precise we can be in our pricing.

If you have inspiration photos or a mood board, have those ready. Even rough ideas about tile style, fixture finishes, or layout preferences give us useful context and help us understand whether you're leaning toward a straightforward project or something more custom.

If you know of any existing issues, tell us upfront. Past leaks, soft spots in the floor, grout that keeps failing, a toilet that rocks: these things affect scope and budget, and the sooner we know about them, the better we can plan.

Have access to the space ready. We'll need to see the full bathroom, including any storage areas around it, and if there's a basement or crawlspace below, that can be useful to look at too, depending on what's involved.
